Long Covid Podcast
The Podcast by and for Long Covid sufferers.
Long Covid is estimated to affect at least 1 in 5 people infected with Covid-19. Many of these people were fit & healthy, many were successfully managing other conditions. Some people recover within a few months, but there are many who have been suffering for much much longer.
Although there is currently no "cure" for Long Covid, and the millions of people still ill have been searching for answers for a long time, in this podcast I hope to explore the many things that can be done to help, through a mix of medical experts, researchers, personal experience & recovery stories. Bringing together the practical & the hopeful - "what CAN we do?"

19 - Cass MacDonald - Life Adjustments for Chronic Conditions
Episode 19 of the Long Covid Podcast is a chat with Cass MacDonald who has had experience of living with chronic conditions for years before also adding Long Covid to the mix, and we look at some of the practical solutions for coping.
We talk about some of the adjustments they have made both in their personal life at home as well as at work which help them to manage symptoms. We also chat about their experiences of returns to work, benefits and managing expectations of both ourselves and others.
Although we all hope that a recovery will be possible, we've definitely learned that Long Covid, like other chronic conditions, is a long game and that mindset is hard to adjust to. Hopefully some of what we talk about is helpful.
